I'm currently using an Arris BGW-320 Gateway provided by AT&T for their Fiber internet service for my wireless routing needs, and it's worked just fine so far. The house isn't particularly large (roughly 1500 square feet) so even the "weakest" of wireless routers should work just fine for coverage, but I want to make sure I'm picking up equipment that's specialized for this sort of low-latency streaming setup. So because of this I'd like to maximize my wireless experience. This means that I'd have to somehow get a wire down a wall with insulation that is on the roof line on both ends, neither of which sounds super fun. In addition, the networking equipment is on an exterior wall of the house, as is the Apple TV. This means that due to the high water table I don't have a basement or crawl space, so any wiring I run will have to be done through the attic and down walls. I know that the best experience is to be had via a wired ethernet connection, but unfortunately my home and placement of equipment in said home makes this very difficult to achieve. I'll likely have to pick up an HDMI display emulator, as some games don't seem to function properly when a display isn't connected. I'd like to be able to play it on my television via the Steam Link app on an Apple TV, on an iMac via Steam streaming or Parsec, and via my iPhone 12 via Steam Link. I recently built a Gaming PC and I'd like to use it exclusively over my network for Gaming purposes. Hey LinusTechTips users, here's a quick brain picker for you.
